Nintendo Wins Patent Case Filed Against 3DS

And Other Hand-Held Systems — Nintendo Continues to Defend its Innovations Against Patent Lawsuits Nintendo recently won a patent case in federal court with the Judge ruling that eight of Nintendo�s popular hand-held systems, including the 3DS, DSi, DS and Game Boy Advance, didn’t infringe patents. The patent case that was started back on 27th Feb. 2013 is finally over for Nintendo, as the judge recently ruled in favor of big ‘N’, that all eight of their hand-held systems since the early days of the Game Boy Advance to the most recent New Nintendo 3DS, did not infact infringe on the patent held by Quintal, whom also had previously lost the same patent case over Sony’s Portable PlayStation (PSP).

Project CARS Cancelled on Wii U

‘The official line is that we’re awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware,’ Speaking to Nintendo Life, Bell explained the game may one day make its debut on Nintendo’s new NX system but, as it stands, the Wii U simply can’t handle it. Project CARS has officially crashed on the track as it was trying to race to the finish line on the Nintendo Wii U console.

Xbox 360 Disc-Scratching Class-Action Lawsuit

Microsoft may be on the verge of a class-action lawsuit following a recurring claim that an Xbox 360 As Arstechnica reports, a decision was made by the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday that says Microsoft should either face litigation regarding the claims or face a Supreme Court showdown. The Xbox 360 since the early days had issues with putting big deep cuts into your game discs, and Microsoft has always said it because you don’t know what you doing, like turning the console from upright to flat while the disc is spinning or jumping around the room with the console moving, or you just not treating your 360 right or your discs, its all your fault the consumer, but this might finally come to crashing halt, as judge has recently made some statements that might leave Microsoft wide open for another major class-action lawsuit after all these years regarding the Xbox 360 disc-scratching issues and the over 50k of reports from very upset Microsoft Xbox gamers
