Fixed bug in card.c that prevented correct backup/write of saves with same filename but different case. Bug affected Timesplitters 2, probably Timesplitters 3 too. Thanks to DakuTree for reporting and Antidote for fixing.

The World Loses A Talented Developer/Hacker

I cannot say that i knew much about Bushing, so i won’t pretend to relay any thoughts about who he was as i cannot do this.

What i do know of him is that he was a tremendously talented developer/hacker who contributed a lot of his mind to the the Wii and PS3 scenes and from what  have seen from those who knew him, he was a very good friend, my heart goes out to those who cared for him and loved him, to his friends and family.

[Released] Cemu v1.2.0 – Wii U

Cemu v1.2.0

View File

Exzap has updated his Wii U Emulator in this Boxing Day release, here is a quote of the changes:

Cemu v1.2.0

  Quote
  • Added basic audio support
  • Added support for GX2 stencil buffers
  • Improved controller options
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and small improvements

and here is a quote from the developers thread on GBATemp:

The addition of sound marks this release as another milestone release (hence v1.2.0 instead of 1.1.3).
Btw. a little warning, the new sound emulation is still lacking some key features and therefore certain games will have stuttery sound or loud noises. For that reason the default volume is very low and you might need to turn it up to hear anything.

Here are some videos showing this update in action:

GTA: New Adversary Mode Every Bullet Counts

Now Available to Play in GTA Online for PS4/XB1/PC

RockStar Games is very pleased to announce that they have added a brand-new addition to the GTA Online Adversary Modes for your PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Consoles, plus also of course PC Gaming Rigs.

Bella this morning dropped by our MaxConsole News HQ Desk, and left us this wonderful note that they have been busy updating the very popular Grand Theft Auto Online universe and have recently added a new special mode called ‘Every Bullet Counts’, and below is all the amazing details of this new high-paced action mode, along with a couple of screenshots to get you to try it out, and best of all it is available starting right now on your new generation of consoles the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with the even more popular PC.

Quote:

Hi all,

Today, we are pleased to announce we have a brand-new addition to the GTA Online Adversary Modes for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Every Bullet Counts’ is an intense Last Man Standing variant with a unique twist to keep players on their toes and constantly on their guard.

With no safe place to hide, four players go up against each other in a confined space with a very limited arsenal: just one marksman pistol and two bullets to take out three opponents. Tactics are key here – once players have exhausted their ammo, they’ll need to resort to crafty melee attacks with their Hatchet or Machete to make it out alive. Campers and lurkers be warned, though: anyone staying still for more than 5 seconds will have their blip revealed on the map, making them an easier target for enemies who are wisely moving from cover to cover. This game mode also features a few of its own new locations in GTA Online, including the De Santa family mansion in Rockford Hills and the Tequi-la-la nightclub.

To make it as easy for players to dive in to this new mode, we’ve set up a Featured Playlist which will let players participate in all four of the new maps one after another with just a single button press during the GTAV Launch screens.

Make sure to tune in to see us playing Every Bullet Counts and other Adversary Modes on Friday at twitch.tv/rockstargames or youtube.com/rockstargames at 5pm Eastern, with special guests to be announced.

Please find new screens attached and let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks, Bella

So what do you think, are you glad that RockStar Games keeps updating the GTA Online world, and best of all most updates are basically free, not like Destiny when they expand their universe, and does all this GTA Online updating keep you playing the game?

[Rumour] New Nintendo NX Information October 2015

The wall street journal has posted an article related to the new Nintendo console dubbed ‘Nintendo NX‘ or just ‘NX‘.
The article claims that NX Dev Machines have been given to developers and seems to lead us to believe that Nintendo will be going for some powerful hardware for the home console, with part of said console doubling as a handheld gaming device, here is a small quote from the source:

Nintendo NX

The exact shape of the NX hardware isn’t yet clear. People familiar with the development plans said Nintendo would likely include both a console and at least one mobile unit that could either be used in conjunction with the console or taken on the road for separate use. They also said Nintendo would aim to put industry-leading chips in the NX devices, after criticism that the Wii U’s capabilities didn’t match those of competitors.
