As many of you know some movies are watermarked using CINAVIA protection and are unplayable on PS3s, or any DVD player that uses the CINAVIA protection code. With the release of the CINAVIA disable tools and Custom Firmware’s coming pre-equipped with these files using the MFW builder, team rebug (the one’s that brought you all those nifty applications and great custom firmware) have now come up with yet another great release. This package will easily disable the CINAVIA protection for PS3’s running custom firmware. Those of you who are still on Kmeaw and Waninkoko can use this as well. With this little nifty application CINAVIA will now not be a headache for all you Custom Firmware users.

Disable Cinavia Installer for 3.41 and 3.55 CFW/MFW will permanently install the necessary ‘Cinavia Free’ video modules (excluding AVCHD/Blu-ray) to your PS3.
This has been a feature of the REBUG firmware from the start but since there seems to be a lot of interest by users of other CFW/MFW we thought we would make an easy installer for everyone.
