3.55 NFW v3 – Newbie Friendly Ware – Now with Package Manager

An update to his last release, bitsbubba brings us 3.55 NFW v3. Along with the Cinavia Fix, and the hybrid TV/GAME category The Homebrew Channel, this current version also includes with Package Manager, with ‘Official’ Codename: Rebug permission of course. This latest version no longer supports the 3.70 Spoof, because it is much safer to use Rebug‘s 3.70 Version Spoofer 2.0.

Hey Cyberskunk I’ve been creating a MFW for newbies that know nothing about PS3MFW Builder and I’m about to release a customized CobraUSB FW that I managed to implement the Package Manager into the Homebrew/TV category I call “The Homebrew Channel” but before I do I would like to get the thumbs up from you (as it is your code). I plan to name it “REBUG Package Manager”

Instructions aka 1-2-3 NFW (bitsbubba’s Newbie Friendly Ware):
1. Format USB device FAT32
2. Place PS3UPDAT.PUP in x:/PS3/UPDATE
3. Install via XMB
NOTE: If you are not on OFW 3.55, please download and install that first, the same way you would install NFW. You can find OFW 3.55 here.
